Emerald Wall Street began as a capstone project within the Entrepreneurship Track of The Links Leadership Academy (LLA) Cohort VI. The concept was introduced by Associate Dean Sharon R. Pinder as a way to harness the collective economic power of Link entrepreneurs through a national digital platform. The vision was shared with participants and ultimately presented to National President Ethel Isaacs Williams, whose support helped transform the concept into a national initiative.

Emerald Wall Street was created to answer a simple but powerful question: How can we create a platform that encourages members of The Links, Incorporated to support Link-owned businesses while showcasing the economic strength of Black women entrepreneurs?

The platform provides visibility for Link-owned businesses, encourages intentional purchasing within the Links community, and demonstrates the collective economic impact of women who are building businesses, creating jobs, and strengthening communities across the nation.

Emerald Wall Street is guided by a dedicated team of Link leaders committed to advancing entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

To connect consumers, corporations, and communities with Black women-owned businesses while increasing visibility and economic opportunities.

Black women entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, consultants, professionals, and nonprofit leaders who are members of The Links, Incorporated.

It’s free for Members of The Links, Inc. to list business in the directory at this time. Future features may include premium or tiered membership options.

Business name, owner name, contact information, business description, logo, service area, website, social media, and Links chapter.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to your business listing /profile by searching the directory for your business.
3. Select the “View Full Profile” button and then select “Listings” under your profile photo.
4. Select the edit button and then scroll down on the “Edit Place” page to update listing details.
5. Select “Submit Listing” button at bottom of the page.

Increased exposure, networking opportunities, referrals, and potential partnerships.

You can advertise events, workshops, or webinars by adding flyers, photos, or videos with relevant information to your listing profile. Please see steps in Question 7 for how to add these artifacts.

Use the Search feature and filter by Region (City / Zip Code) or by Chapter Name to find a business in your area.

Business and business owner contact information is included in listings in the directory.

Businesses in the directory are Links owned and must be duly registered, currently active, and in good standing. You should always research business legitimacy on your own.

Corporations owned by members of The Links, Inc. can use the directory to find businesses, including suppliers. Supplier diversity opportunities for non-Links members is a future feature for this directory.
